Welcome to the New Mexico ASTA site.
New Mexico is rather unique in the string teaching community. While most of the population lives in the middle, we have the inherent problem of communication and involvement with those teaching in the more remote reaches of the state. With the aid of this website, we hope to make it convenient for all our members to share ideas, report upcoming events, recognize excellence in teaching and just get to know each other!

Remember that your membership to the national organization automatically includes you in our state chapter membership rolls. If you're not a member already, you can sign up on line by logging on to www.astaweb.com.
